home in motion
The SS28 home evolves into an open system, shaped around increasingly mobile, hybrid and fluid urban lives. As the boundaries between living, working, resting and socialising become less defined, interiors move away from fixed layouts towards spaces that can be continuously adjusted, reconfigured and personalised.
Repeatable modules, movable furniture, transformable surfaces and space-saving solutions allow the domestic environment to shift throughout the day. Lightweight pieces move from room to room, temporary work areas appear and disappear, while integrated storage keeps the space visually calm. Flexibility becomes part of the design language itself.
Yet adaptability is not only functional. As lifestyles become more mobile, the need for emotional continuity grows stronger. Personal objects, collected pieces, familiar colours and tactile materials create a sense of belonging even within temporary or changing spaces. The home becomes less about a perfectly coordinated aesthetic and more about expressing identity, memory and lived experience.
Biophilic design reinforces this emotional dimension. Indoor greenery, daylight, organic forms and natural materials introduce softness and sensory comfort, reconnecting increasingly technological environments with the physical world. Technology, meanwhile, becomes quieter and more integrated, supporting daily rituals through concealed connections, dynamic lighting and intuitive solutions without dominating the interior.
For digital nomads, renters and new forms of co-living, permanence itself is being redefined. Privacy, concentration and social interaction coexist through flexible zoning, acoustic solutions and adaptable micro-spaces, allowing domestic environments to respond to different users, activities and moments.
Home in Motion explores a domestic landscape designed to evolve with its inhabitants — adaptive, personal and never completely fixed.
